Senior Program Leader – Tech & Data

Location: Ranchi,Jharkhand

About the Role

The Senior Program Leader – Tech & Data will support the implementation of technology-enabled education programs across Jharkhand by driving adoption of digital platforms, strengthening data systems, and ensuring high-quality implementation at the district level. The role will work closely with Program Leaders, Fellows, government stakeholders, and internal technology teams to improve data quality, enhance technology adoption, and support evidence-based program implementation.

The role requires a strong combination of technology implementation, data analytics, stakeholder management, project coordination, and problem-solving skills, along with a commitment to strengthening public education systems through digital innovation.

Desirable Experience

• Graduate or Postgraduate in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Public Policy, Education, Management, or related disciplines.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in technology implementation, MIS, digital transformation, data analytics, or program operations.
• Experience working with government departments, development organizations, NGOs, or education programs is highly desirable.
• Experience supporting implementation of technology products, digital platforms, or MIS systems.

• Willingness to travel extensively across Jharkhand.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of technology-enabled programs across assigned districts.
• Drive adoption and effective utilization of digital platforms and technology solutions by Program Leaders and Fellows.
• Monitor program implementation through technology-enabled monitoring systems and dashboards.
• Ensure timely collection, validation, and reporting of program data while maintaining high standards of data quality.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support for digital platforms and MIS systems.
• Conduct capacity-building sessions for Program Leaders and Fellows on technology tools, dashboards, and data management processes.
• Prepare implementation reports, dashboards, presentations, analytical notes, and decision-support materials for the Program Manager and leadership.
• Document implementation learnings, best practices, and case studies to support continuous program improvement.

Project Brief

Piramal Foundation is implementing a systems-change program to strengthen the government ecosystem and improve the quality of public education through technology-enabled governance, data-driven decision-making, and institutional capacity building.

The program aims to strengthen education systems by enabling efficient program implementation, improving data visibility, supporting evidence-based planning, and enhancing coordination between government stakeholders and implementation teams.

Through digital platforms, robust monitoring systems, and strengthened data governance, the program seeks to improve implementation quality, build institutional capacities, and support sustainable education reforms across Jharkhand.

The Senior Program Leader – Tech & Data will play a key role in translating state-level technology strategy into effective district-level implementation by ensuring technology adoption, strengthening data systems, building capacities of field teams, and supporting government stakeholders in using digital solutions to improve education outcomes.
