Job Summary:

Anamaya, the Tribal Health Collaborative (THC) was launched by Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare Dr Harsh Vardhan and Union Minister of Tribal Affairs Shri Arjun Munda at a New Delhi on 7th April 2021. The Collaborative is a multi-stakeholder initiative of Tribal Affairs Ministry supported by Piramal Foundation. It will converge efforts of various Government agencies and organizations to enhance the health.

Gender and Stakeholder Manager, will play a pivotal role in advancing our organization's gender equality initiatives and managing relationships with key stakeholders.

This role will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

Program and Strategy Development:

• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement program with comprehensive gender equality strategy
• Conduct research and analysis for the program and develop targeted interventions to address them.
• Design and deliver as per program requirement.
• Lead and provide support to national and subnational activity implementation including trainings and multi-stakeholder workshops

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders,
• Serve as a liaison between the organization and external partners to promote collaboration on the program initiatives and leverage resources and expertise.
• Represent the organization at meetings, conferences, and events.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Collect and analyze data on key performance indicators related to the program
• Prepare regular reports and presentations for leadership /stakeholders on the progress and areas for improvement.

• Strong presentation skills - ability to communicate with Senior Leadership/stakeholders

• Collaboration with multiple internal/external stakeholders (individual and teams)

Desirable Qualification: Master’s degree or its international equivalent in Gender studies, Public Health, Health Administration, Social Work, Sociology, Rural Management, Public Policy, or Development Studies

Experience:

• At least 5 to 7 years of experience in project planning and implementation of gender and health projects; stakeholder management
• Strong understanding of gender issues, systems and design thinking, intersectionality and best practices in promoting diversity and inclusion.
• Experience in working with government stakeholder, program management, and working with tribal population would be preferable.
• Research (both quantitative as well as qualitative studies) including development and validation of research tools would be an added advantage. Experience in data analysis and reporting
• Commitment to the organisation’s values of diversity, equity and inclusion.

Duration of posting:

• 6 months
• The incumbent should be able to join the duty station at the earliest

 Travel Willing to travel up to 50% or more of time and as per project need.
