Job Description

• This multifaceted position involves managing program activities, building strategic partnerships, and ensuring the successful achievement of project goals.
• Responsible for developing and implementing strategies to promote Quality SRH/FP services, centered on Youth/Adolescents, addressing specific socio-cultural challenges within the state.
• Responsible for providing technical and program implementation support on thematic areas of SRH/ and engaging youth/adolescents.
• Support state government/district health authorities’ capacity building of the health system to ensure implementation of the National SRH/FP guidelines as per the FP 2030 Vision.
• Strengthen the partner ministry/department/administration to ensure more equitable access to SRH/FP services that address gender inequities and greater male engagement.
• Design and execute community outreach programs to raise awareness about SRH/FP services, addressing the needs of specific demographics within the state.
• Collaborate with community leaders, influencers, and local organizations to enhance program visibility and impact.
• Regularly analyze data and generate reports to track progress, identify challenges, and propose solutions for continuous improvement.
• Ensure implementation of monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to assess the impact of program activities.
• Manage program budgets, ensuring efficient utilization of resources for maximum impact.
• Oversee procurement processes and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for the timely delivery of program materials and resources.
• Undertake any other project related work assigned by your direct supervisor from time to time.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Master’s degree in public health, Social Sciences, Program Management, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of proven experience in program management, particularly in SRH/FP/Adolescent Health-related initiatives. Expertise in Community Processes and community engagement Experience will be valuable.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Familiarity with the healthcare landscape and socio-cultural dynamics of the States.
• Experience of working at the National or State level or in multiple states.
