Digital Bharat Collaborative (DBC), a part of Piramal Foundation, supports the government to transform the public healthcare system by building a robust digital delivery platform that ensures availability and accessibility of quality healthcare for all. Through this, we seek to enhance experiences of citizens in accessing government health services at the last mile.

This role will be responsible for but not limited to the following: .

1. Project Planning and supervision:

a. Plan, implement and coordinate a mechanism for effective monitoring of the project in consultation with State Lead.

b. To work on the project towards effectively fulfilling the stated objectives as mentioned in the project proposal.

c. Assist State Lead for periodic review of the project progress and modification as required.

d. Support and supervise the project implementation ensuring the timely deliverables at the field level.

2. Capacity Building:

a. Coordination and delivery of face-to-face training as required, under guidance of State Lead.

b. Participating as faculty to technical trainings

c. Managing supply of up-to-date training materials.

d. Managing the training database.

e. Reporting, evaluating and follow-up of technical training.

f. Plan, organize, monitor, and assess the training.

g. Support District Program Officer in District level capacity building activities.

3. Technical Assistance:

a. Assist State lead to develop of state and district level action plan in coordination with DPO.

b. Provide technical assistance to State lead and Health department at State and District level.

c. Technical support to District Program Officer for timely deliverables.

d. Oversee the development of approaches, tools and materials to monitor.

e. Support at State and District for implementing and monitoring of High-risk pregnancy identification and tracking strategies.

4. Coordination:

a. Adopt and implement an inter-sectoral coordination approach for comprehensive maternal health initiatives.

b. To liaison with key officials of all the Departments.

c. Regular coordination with Maternal health section for technical support.

d. Advocacy, communication, and social mobilization.

5. Perform any other relevant duties aligned with the project objectives as required by Joint Director / Deputy Director, Maternal health, Directorate of Health Services, Government of Chhattisgarh, and project director, Saksham project.

6. Continuous process improvement.

Identify, in consultation with Joint Director – Maternal health and CMHO priority areas for process improvement. Review current process, identify changes required, prepare proposals, obtain necessary approvals, facilitate implementation, and demonstrate improvement through appropriate indicators.

7. Documentation

      Preparing the process documents as per project deliverables. Case studies, process documents for AAA, group ANC checklist, monthly reports, activity reports etc.

Desirable Qualification & Experience

  1. Postgraduate (master’s degree in public health/ policy, Governance, Health System Reform, and Management, or a relevant field
  2. 6-7 years of experience in the health sector working in a reputed organization.

Essential Skills:

  1. Technical knowledge and field experience in community action efforts in public health programs, district action planning and partnership
  2. Familiarity with the Indian health system, and relevant government policies/ strategies particularly NHM, RMNCHA+, Community Process, platforms, and schemes etc.

Optional Skills:

  1. Experience in RMNCH Data / Research would be desirable
  2. Experience in the government health system, NHM would be preferable
  3. Prior experience of working in primary healthcare in similar settings is desirable
  4. Experience in innovative and effective community engagement approaches will be desirable
  5. Experience in implementing/ managing/ working at state level public health programs is an added advantage
