Job Responsibilities

As Team Leader:

• Overall lead the project strategy and Deliverable Roadmap in consultation with the Client, Management team and Project team
• Supervise, guide and review preparation of all Technical Deliverables as per work schedule.
• Bring in deep understanding on local context and sector knowledge especially in holistic water resource and flood mitigation strategy.
• Lead and manage all the key experts and align non- key personnel’s to the key experts as per the organogram and work in close coordination.
• Lead trainings, consultations and steering meetings for integration at the government level
• Supervise project workplan, delivery, management of quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC)
• Overall track of key performance indicator for the program and manage /align with PSC/ other key stakeholders

As Flood Expert:

• Lead Flood resilience and Flood Forecasting and Technology layouts as required in the Project with GCC and other relevant stakeholders
• Contextualize international best practices for the GCC and help improve GCC Sustainability by integrating innovative working mechanism
• As technical head, spearhead overall ISRC delivery and manage cutting edge solutions to the GCC in coordination with key govt stakeholders/institutions
• Integrate factors of disaster, climate resilience, development and drive policy advocacy needs

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Degree in Water Resources Engineering or Environmental Engineering or Flood Management.
• Minimum 15 Years relevant experience- Experience in Institutional strengthening; design of flood control projects; execution of flood or sewerage projects; operation and maintenance of flood or sewerage projects or other similar works
• Experience as Team leader/ Project Manager/ Construction Manager/Institutional strengthening or in any senior position in Water sector more than 10 years of experience
• Experience in Project Management in a large size project of Urban Water at least 4 projects
• Experience in ADB or other external aided project at senior positions responsible to reporting to Bank
