Position: Trainer – Financial Literacy & Digital Financial Literacy (2 Positions)
Locations: Surat, Gujarat & Hosur, Tamil Nadu
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: ₹28,000 – ₹35,000 per month

As part of the Empower Her initiative, BharatCares is strengthening women’s economic participation by building their financial capability, digital literacy, and entrepreneurship skills.
Position Overview
We are looking for passionate and experienced Trainers to deliver Financial Literacy and Digital Financial Literacy training to women beneficiaries under the Empower Her – Women Empowerment & Livelihood Program.
The Trainer will conduct interactive training sessions, build participants' financial capabilities, promote digital financial inclusion, and support women entrepreneurs in adopting formal financial systems and digital payment solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Training Delivery
- Conduct engaging classroom and community-based training sessions on financial literacy and digital financial literacy.
- Deliver modules on savings, budgeting, banking services, credit, insurance, investments, government financial schemes, and financial planning.
- Train women beneficiaries on digital payment platforms including UPI, mobile banking, internet banking, AEPS, QR code payments, and digital wallets.
- Build awareness on cyber safety, digital fraud prevention, and safe online financial practices.
Capacity Building
- Strengthen women's confidence in using digital financial services independently.
- Support participants in opening bank accounts, using digital banking services, and accessing government welfare schemes.
- Facilitate practical demonstrations and hands-on learning activities.
Community Engagement
- Mobilize and engage women beneficiaries for training programs.
- Conduct awareness sessions in collaboration with community institutions, SHGs, and local stakeholders.
- Promote financial inclusion and entrepreneurship among women.
Monitoring & Documentation
- Maintain participant attendance, assessments, and training records.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly training reports.
- Document success stories, testimonials, and impact case studies.
- Ensure timely submission of project documentation and MIS.
Coordination
- Coordinate with Project Coordinators, field teams, and community partners for effective implementation.
- Participate in review meetings, refresher trainings, and capacity-building workshops.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Finance, Management, Social Work, Rural Development, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Certification in Financial Literacy or Digital Financial Literacy will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in conducting financial literacy, digital literacy, livelihood, or entrepreneurship training programs.
- Experience working with women empowerment, SHGs, livelihood projects, CSR programs, NGOs, or government initiatives is preferred.
Skills Required
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of financial inclusion, banking products, and digital payment systems.
- Good communication and community engagement skills.
- Ability to conduct participatory and experiential learning sessions.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Fluency in the local language (Gujarati for Surat / Tamil for Hosur) is preferred.
Preferred Candidate
- Experience working with women entrepreneurs, SHGs, or livelihood programs.
- Passion for community development and financial inclusion.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned project area.
