ABOUT Brahmaputra Board

Brahmaputra Board is a statutory body set up under an Act of Parliament (Brahmaputra Board Act 1980) under the Ministry of Jal Shakti, Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation. The jurisdiction of Brahmaputra Board includes Brahmaputra and Barak Valley and covers all the States of the North Eastern Region including Sikkim and part of West Bengal falling under Brahmaputra basin. The Board consists of 21 Members under the Chairman, Brahmaputra Board (4 full time Members and 17 part time Members) The Board started functioning with its Headquarters at Guwahati from 11.01.1982. As per subsection (2) of section (3) of the Brahmaputra Board Rules, 1981 Board has established a Coordination Office at New Delhi.

Roles & Responsibilities

• End-to-end website and web application development.
• Frontend, Backend (Laravel mandatory), Database & API development.
• UI/UX design and enhancement.
• Server/VM management and deployment on NIC Cloud/NDC.
• Security implementation, VAPT compliance, SSL management.
• GIGW, STQC, WCAG compliance and certification support.
• Website maintenance, troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• Documentation, reporting and coordination with NIC/NICSI/CERT-In agencies.
• Development of new modules, portals and applications as required by Brahmaputra Board

Essential Qualification

• B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) / Information Technology (IT) OR M.E./ M.Tech in CSE / IT OR MCA from recognized University/Institution or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as Full Stack Developer with hands-on experience in end-to-end web application development including frontend, backend, database management, API integration, deployment and maintenance of web-based solutions.

Desirable

• Upper age limit 35 years

Emoluments (consolidated)

• ₹ 60,000.00 (Rupees sixty thousand) per month.
