The Roundtable: Private Sector Engagement: Inclusive Early Childhood Development

This roundtable is designed as a dialogue opener with CSR leaders, philanthropic foundations, and ecosystem partners to explore the role of the private sector in advancing Inclusive Early Childhood Development in India.

ECD is globally recognised as the foundation of lifelong health, learning, and productivity, with over 80% of brain development taking place during this critical window. Covering children’s physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development, ECD lays the groundwork for future learning, wellbeing, and economic potential.

Despite its proven high return on investment, ECD often remains underrepresented in CSR portfolios in India. This roundtable seeks to bridge that gap by fostering conversations on how private sector investments, strategies, and partnerships can enable inclusive, scalable, and impactful ECD interventions.

  • The Nurturing Care Framework : Understanding its pillars and application in India.
