GPSVS has been working on Education, Health, WASH, Child protection and development, Community Based Disaster Risk Reduction, Climate Resilience, Migration & Skill Development. The organisation primarily working for Women, Children & Adolescents & youths. Its working area extends to different districts of Bihar like Madhubani, Darbhanga, Supaul, Purnia, Saharsha, Saran, Muzaffarpur, Patna, Nalanda, Bhojpur and other districts. It has strong network in other districts as well.

Job Description: Accounts and Logistics Manager
Eligibility Criteria
i)should be a commerce graduate with an experience of handling NGO books of accounts
ii)should possess excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
iii) should have hands-on experience of using accounting software like Tally or QuickBooks
iv)should be acquainted in statutory laws with regards to Income Tax and FCRA
v)must be proficient in MS Word and MS Excel
vi)should have a good analytical skill
vii)Should have the experience of handling audit independently
Job Responsibility
i)Comply with the financial policy and regulation of the organization and the foundation
ii)Manage all accounting transactions and update the books of accounts regularly
iii)Conduct budget variance analysis and prepare budget forecast
iv)Prepare and share with the Foundation the financial reports on time
v)Handle monthly and annual closing of books of accounts
vi)Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statement
vii)Compute taxes and prepare tax return
viii)Prepare the balance sheet
ix)Audit financial transactions and documents
x)Timely filling of annual tax returns
xi)Conduct needs assessment for preparing list of assets and materials to be procured and purchase of items as per the organizational policy at the earliest
xii)Record all assets in the asset register and materials in the stock register immediately after procurement
xiii)Timely and cost-effective distribution of the materials purchased to its desired locations
Ensure the quality check of the anthropometric instruments every quarter and undertake repair and maintenance of assets as applicable
Conduct regular monitoring of creche activities
Salary: Rs.Upto Rs.25000.00 per month (Including HR/PF etc)
