About the Organization

National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCD) was established in the year 1963 by an Act of the Parliament as a statutory corporation under the Ministry of Cooperation.

To plan, promote and finance programmes for production, processing, marketing, storage, export and import of agricultural produce, food grains, certain other notified commodities viz. fertilizers, insecticides, agricultural machinery, locks, soaps, kerosene, textiles, rubber etc., supply of consumer goods through co-operatives and collection, processing, marketing, storage and export of minor forest produce besides income generating activities like poultry, dairy, pisciculture, entomology, handloom etc.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

Essential: -

• Bachelor’s degree in Law and enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council
• 2 years’ post qualification experience in the areas of legal/financial documentation, mortgages, guarantees, hypothecation, recovery suits/claims etc. and matters relating to litigation in different Courts of Law/Tribunals preferably in banks/financial institutions and conversant with use of computer and related software.

Desirable: -

• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in recovery related matters including SARFAESI Act etc.

Candidates who fulfil the educational qualification, experience, age and other criteria may submit their applications in the prescribed proforma (enclosed), complete in all respects so as to reach the office of Director (P&A), National Cooperative Development Corporation, 4, Siri Institutional Area, Hauz Khas, New Delhi-110016 by 31^st August, 2025 through registered post/courier/by hand. At the time of document verification candidates should bring with them copy of the application along with self attested copies of certificates in proof of age, Educational qualification, Experience, SC/ST/ OBC/ EWS/ PWD /Ex-Servicemen certificate in the prescribed formats (if applicable), NOC from their present employer (if employed in Govt./ Public Undertakings/ Autonomous Bodies) along with original documents for verification. Last date for submission of application is 31st August, 2025.
