Job Description

WJCF is seeking a highly motivated Associate to lead analytical, strategic, and implementation workstreams across the SRMNH portfolio. The Associate will drive high-quality analyses, design frameworks for intervention models, lead research activities, and manage relationships with government stakeholders. They will guide components of program execution, develop strategic documentation, and ensure delivery of key outputs. The role requires strong problem-solving abilities, comfort working in complex environments, and the ability to independently own and drive major workstreams.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead analytical and programmatic workstreams across SRMNH initiatives, driving evidence-based decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Oversee development and institutionalization of dashboards, scorecards, forecasting tools, and monitoring frameworks to enable data-driven governance.
  • Guide advanced analyses on contraception uptake, CAC access, maternal and newborn health outcomes, anemia management, and supply chain performance to inform policy and program design.
  • Direct structured research efforts, including literature reviews, policy analyses, and stakeholder consultations, ensuring rigor and actionable insights.
  • Design and steer pilot frameworks, scale-up strategies, and implementation pathways in collaboration with government and partner organizations.
  • Build and sustain high-level relationships with government officials, donors, and technical partners to strengthen alignment and drive impact.
  • Ensure quality and timeliness of program outputs, including strategic notes, donor reports, SOPs, and presentations for diverse audiences.
  • Mentor and supervise analysts and junior staff, providing guidance on research design, analytical approaches, and deliverable development.
  • Lead identification of new opportunities, contribute to proposal development, and craft compelling pitch materials for SRMNH and allied areas.
  • Provide operational leadership to ensure seamless planning, coordination, and execution of multiple activities across workstreams.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement strategies, ensuring alignment with WJCF’s ideals and fostering collaboration across multiple stakeholders.
  • Lead development of high-quality proposals and collaborative documents, translating program objectives into compelling narratives for funding and partnerships.
  • Ensure effective and prompt communication across internal teams and external stakeholders, including rapid response to critical situations with structured action plans.
  • Represent WJCF in high-level forums and public engagements, leveraging strong communication and public relations skills to advocate for SRMNH priorities.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Public Health, Economics, Business, Population Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field
  • At least 4 years of professional experience in demanding, results-oriented environments across public and/or private sectors; experience with advanced analytics projects is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large projects, design interventions, and contribute to proposal/concept note development
  • Excellent analytical (qualitative and quantitative) skills and strong written and oral communication abilities, including preparation of high-quality presentations and analyses for multiple audiences
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with demonstrated ability to work independently on complex projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task with a high degree of ownership and commitment to excellence
  • Strong diplomatic and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships across diverse stakeholders
  • Fluency in English and Hindi, written and verbal

Advantages:
