Job Position: Associate Manager – Skilling
Location: Hosur
No. of Position: 1
CTC: ₹7.2 LPA - ₹8.4 LPA (Depending on the relevant experience)
About the Position:
The Associate Manager – Skill Development will be responsible for monitoring and executing skill development projects implemented by BharatCares at the ground level. The role involves overseeing mobilisation, training delivery, placement coordination, stakeholder engagement, and compliance for CSR-funded skilling programs, particularly in technical trades of CNC, Mechatronics, and Electric Vehicles (EV).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Monitoring & Implementation
- Monitor end-to-end implementation of skill development projects across training centers and field locations
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, targets, budgets, and quality standards defined by BharatCares and funding partners
- Track project KPIs, including enrolment, attendance, training completion, assessments, and placements
2. Mobilisation, Training & Placement
- Oversee mobilisation activities by the on-ground team and ensure achievement of approved enrolment targets
- Coordinate with training partners, trainers, and center teams for smooth program delivery
- Support placement activities through industry coordination and tracking post-placement outcomes
3. Technical Trade Oversight
- Support implementation and monitoring of technical trades such as CNC, Mechatronics, and EV
- Ensure readiness of training infrastructure, labs, equipment, and trainers as per project guidelines
4. Project Management
- Handle CSR-funded skill development projects implemented by BharatCares
- Ensure compliance with donor guidelines, government norms, SOPs, and reporting frameworks
- Coordinate audits, inspections, and monitoring visits by CSR partners.
5. Stakeholder Engagement & Liaison
- Liaise with Government departments, Sector Skill Councils (SSCs), training partners, and institutions
- Build and maintain relationships with private organizations and industries for placements and collaborations
- Act as the local point of contact for external stakeholders at the project level
6. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and submit MIS, progress reports, utilization certificates, and impact reports
- Maintain accurate project documentation and records as per BharatCares standards
- Share regular updates with internal teams and senior management
7. Team Coordination
- Coordinate with project coordinators, mobilisers, and center-level staff
- Provide operational guidance and ensure smooth coordination between field teams and central teams
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Graduate or Postgraduate in Social Work, Management, Engineering, Education, or a related field
- 4–6 years of experience in the Skill Development / Livelihood sector
- Strong understanding of mobilisation, training delivery, assessments, and placements
- Hands-on experience in managing CSR and Government-funded skilling projects
- Exposure to technical trades such as CNC, Mechatronics, and Electric Vehicles (EV)
- Proven experience in liaising with Government authorities and private organizations
- Proficiency in Tamil is mandatory (spoken and basic written)
- Willingness to travel locally as per project requirements
