Position Overview:

The Associate Manager - People and Culture will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems, providing counseling on policies and procedures, being actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads, and managing the hiring process. This role will also support the development and management of programs and initiatives that promote positive employee relations and enhance employee engagement.

The Role and Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Assist in the recruitment process by preparing job descriptions, posting job ads, and managing the hiring process.
  • Conduct interviews and coordinate with hiring managers and project leads to ensure smooth onboarding of new employees.
  • Develop and conduct onboarding sessions for new hires.

Employee Relations:

  • Act as a point of contact for employees' queries and issues related to HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the resolution of employee relations issues and conflicts.
  • Support the implementation of disciplinary and grievance procedures.
  • Work with Sr. HR manager to give updates and discuss employee issues.

Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs and assist in designing and delivering training programs.
  • Support career development and succession planning initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.

HR Administration:

  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
  • Prepare and submit all relevant HR documents and reports.
  • Get hands on expertise on HRMS software and leave management.

Culture and Engagement:

  • Support the development and implementation of programs that enhance employee engagement and organizational culture.
  • Assist in organizing company events, meetings, and employee recognition programs.
  • Conduct employee surveys and analyze feedback to improve employee satisfaction.

Policy Development:

  • Assist in the development, review, and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that all HR activities comply with local labor laws and regulations.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in HR management.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience of working on social sector will be an added advantage.
  • 3-5 years of experience in HR or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices and labor laws.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
