Job Description

The Associate Manager / Manager – Placements for One year program of Global Supply chain Management and Digital Enterprise Management will be responsible for expanding and strengthening the institute’s corporate engagement and placement outcomes, with a primary focus on new account creation and deep market outreach in the South region.

Job Responsibilities       

Corporate Relations & Account Development

• Identify, prospect, and onboard new corporate recruiters, with a strong focus on South India (IT/ITeS, Analytics, Consulting, Manufacturing, Start-ups, and emerging sectors).
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with CHROs, Talent Acquisition leaders, and business heads.
• Position the institute effectively to create sustainable hiring pipelines across functions and roles.

Placement Outreach & Market Expansion

• Drive maximum outreach initiatives including corporate visits, virtual connects, leadership interactions, and hiring conversations.
• Collaborate with the Head – Placements on strategic outreach plans and regional market penetration.
• Track industry hiring trends and align outreach strategy to market demand.

Placement Execution Support

• Support end-to-end placement processes including role scoping, JDs finalisation, student shortlisting, interview coordination, and offer closures.
• Ensure timely communication and seamless experience for recruiters during placement processes.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with internal stakeholders including faculty, placement committee, and student cohorts.
• Coordinate with regional counterparts (North, West, East) to ensure consistency in recruiter experience and institutional messaging.

Reporting & Data Management

• Maintain accurate records of corporate engagement, outreach status, hiring pipelines, and conversion metrics.
• Prepare regular reports and dashboards for leadership review.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• MBA / Postgraduate degree in Management, HR, Marketing, or related fields

Experience        

• 5 and above years of experience in placements, corporate relations, recruitment, business development, or talent acquisition
• Strong exposure to South India corporate ecosystem preferred

• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• High ownership, execution focus, and comfort with aggressive timelines
• Willingness to travel extensively
• Strategic mindset with hands-on execution capability
