Role Summary

The Associate Manager – CSR & Community Institutions will play a critical role in strengthening, enabling, and scaling community-led enterprises supported under CSR and development programs. The role focuses on working closely with SHGs, FPOs, cooperatives, and producer institutions to improve market readiness, drive sales linkages, and ensure measurable social and economic impact.

This position requires a strong blend of community engagement, CSR program understanding, market linkage orientation, and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Community Institution Engagement

• Work closely with SHGs, FPOs, cooperatives, and rural producer institutions supported under CSR programs.
• Support institutions in improving product readiness, quality consistency, pricing, and packaging
• Strengthen institutional systems related to aggregation, inventory, and basic compliance

CSR Program Implementation

• Implement CSR-supported livelihood and enterprise development programs aligned with Earthikaa’s objectives
• Coordinate with CSR donors, foundations, and implementation partners
• Ensure program activities align with Schedule VII – Livelihoods, Rural Development, and Skill Building

Market Linkages & Sales Enablement

• Support market linkage development through Earthikaa’s platform and partner channels
• Coordinate with internal sales, marketing, and brand teams to onboard community products
• Assist in piloting new sales channels (B2B, B2C, exhibitions, institutional buyers, digital platforms)

Stakeholder & Partnership Management

• Act as a bridge between community institutions, NGOs, CSR partners, and internal teams
• Support onboarding and relationship management of NGOs and grassroots partners
• Facilitate trainings, exposure visits, and buyer–seller interactions

Monitoring, Data & Impact Tracking

• Track key indicators including:

1. Sales volumes and revenue
2. Producer participation
3. Income enhancement outcomes

• Maintain program MIS, reports, and documentation
• Support impact reporting for CSR partners and internal reviews

Coordination & Field Support

• Conduct regular field visits to monitor implementation and provide handholding
• Coordinate logistics, documentation, and reporting with multiple stakeholders
• Support audits, reviews, and donor visits as required

Common Skills Required (Core to the Role)

• Market linkage & sales orientation for community-led enterprises
• Strong understanding of SHG / Cooperative / FPO ecosystems
• Stakeholder and partnership management
• Data-driven tracking of sales and social impact
• Strong coordination, communication, and field engagement skills
• Prior experience in marketing or promotion of community-led enterprises

Required Qualifications

Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in:

1. CSR programs
2. Livelihoods & enterprise development
3. Community institutions (SHGs, FPOs, cooperatives)
4. Market linkage or rural enterprise promotion

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Rural Management, Development Studies, Management, or related fields
• Master’s degree preferred (MSW / MBA – Rural Management / Development Studies)

Other Requirements

• Willingness to travel extensively to rural and semi-urban locations
• Comfort working in dynamic, early-stage, impact-driven ventures
• Ability to balance community sensitivities with market realities
