About the Organization

Established in 1982, Wildlife Institute of India (WII) is an internationally acclaimed Institution, which offers training program, academic courses and advisory in wildlife research and management. The Institute is actively engaged in research across the breadth of the country on biodiversity related issues.

Title of the Project: National Tiger Conservation Authority (Hqrs.) New Delhi – Tiger Outside Tiger Reserve (TOTR)

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Master’s Degree in Natural Sciences (Wildlife Science/ Zoology/ Ecology/ Environmental Sciences/ Geoinformatics/ Life Sciences) or equivalent subjects from recognized institute/ University AND Three to Five years of experience (after obtaining Masters’ degree) in Science & Technology Institutions or Scientific activities and Services.

                           OR

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Technology in equivalent subject from recognized institute/ University AND Three to Five years of experience (after obtaining Bachelors’ degree) in Science & Technology Institutions or Scientific activities and Services.

Desirable Qualification(s)

• Experience in wildlife and related fields, preferably Tiger Landscape/ Habitats
• Knowledge in Report writing, AI, Presentations, Preparation of DPRs
• Experience in the working of Ecology and Climate Change (knowledge about green credits, Carbon Markets, etc.)
• Use of GIS and other similar tools
• Experience in designing & handling basic software for data management
• Use of software such as Canva/ Photoshop etc

Salary

Rs. 70,000/- (Consolidated)
