The Antara Foundation (TAF) envisions a world where every mother and each child deserves an equal start to a healthy life. We support the public health system in delivering solutions at scale, partnering with the government and communities to improve maternal and child health outcomes.
TAF operates across 9 districts, 38 blocks, and 5,700 villages, supporting 20,000 frontline workers and reaching 379,000 women and 650,000 children in central India. Over the next few years, we aim to expand to new locations to maximize our impact.
Job Description
The Program Associate – Integration will play a key role in directly supporting the Program Director in community and integrated model intervention design, program analysis, and documentation. This role will involve data-driven insights, preparing reports and presentations, drafting SoPs, and assisting in similar areas.
The ideal candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in data analysis, documentation, and presentation design. They should have a foundational understanding of maternal and child health (MNCHN) programs and various community models within or outside TAF and related government policies. Above all, the candidate should have the passion to work for and with community.
Job Responsibilities
Program Design & Research Support
- Assist in designing and refining community intervention models, ensuring strategic alignment with TAF’s vision.
- Able to do secondary research and compile best practices to inform program strategies.
- Develop and update frameworks, templates, and operational documents for Community program implementation.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Prepare structured analytical reports, dashboards, and briefing notes for the Program Director and Senior Leadership.
- Ensure high-quality documentation of program impact and learnings.
Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Draft Standard Operating Procedures (SoPs) in guidance from supervisor, and internal guidelines, community manuals and intervention guidelines under the guidance of supervisor.
- Maintain a structured repository of program knowledge, reports, and insights of community intervention.
- Assist in writing concept notes and internal strategy documents.
Presentation & Communication Support
- Develop high-quality PowerPoint presentations, infographics, and visual reports for leadership, donors, and government partners.
Strategic & Administrative Support
- Assist in organizing internal meetings, strategic discussions, and stakeholder engagements.
- Prepare minutes, action points, and follow-ups for key program-related meetings.
- Support the Program Director in planning and managing priorities efficiently.
Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience
- Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Development Studies, MSW, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in data analysis, documentation, research, or program strategy in public health or development.
- Basic knowledge of maternal and child health programs and government health initiatives is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Excellent writing, editing, and documentation abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and report writing.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools, Canva, or infographic design is a plus.
Soft Skills
- Detail-Oriented: Ability to maintain high documentation standards.
- Organized & Proactive: Capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to connect data insights with program improvements.
- Clear Communicator: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
