Communications, Outreach and Public Relations Specialist

Position: Communications, Outreach and Public Relations Specialist

Qualifications Required:

• Master degree in Mass Communication/ Strategic Communication/ Public Relations/ Journalism/ Media Science/ Media Management/ or related discipline from any Government recognized university/ institution.
• Minimum of 7 years of work experience in Public Sector, preferably in Social Sector is required.
• At least 5 years of mandatory experience in similar role.
• Demonstrable experience of working on one or more areas like communication strategy design, programme communication, advocacy communication, public relations, media Management.
• Sound knowledge and prior work experience in initiatives related to women’s economic empowerment in West Bengal is desired.
• Prior experience of working in any bilateral/ multilateral funded project or Externally Aided Project will be a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Bengali, with an ability to craft messages and communiqués, condense information into key points, write clear and articulate reports and inputs for documents, and produce compelling narratives.
