Key Details

• Position: Coordinator- Area/Thematic (Livelihood/Food Security focus)
• Location: Bodhgaya, Bihar ( subject to transfer to any project location within Bihar)
• Reports to: Program Coordinator/ Project Manager
• Supervisory Role: Project Executives, Community Resource Persons ( CRPs)
• Employment Type: Full-time – 4 months contract, extendable based on performance and funding.

Position Overview

The Coordinator plays a critical role in implementing program interventions at the cluster or panchayat level. They coordinate field teams, engage communities, ensure data accuracy, and promote effective service delivery. This position bridges the organization and the community, ensuring that the program objectives are met on the ground.

Core Responsibilities (70%)

Field Operations
• Supervise CRPs and Project Executives in daily implementation.
• Facilitate effective delivery of services and timely reporting.
• Address challenges and provide solutions in real time.

Community Engagement
• Maintain strong relationships with community leaders and local institutions.
• Conduct awareness sessions and promote participation in programs.
• Support grievance redress and beneficiary follow-up.

Data & Documentation
• Ensure daily data collection and accurate MIS entry.
• Submit weekly field updates, success stories, and case studies.
• Assist in quality assurance and internal audits.

Link Responsibilities (15%)

• Liaise with MEAL team for data collection and verification.
• Coordinate with Communications for field stories and photo documentation.
• Support program reviews and planning exercises.

Systemic Responsibilities (15%)

• Promote organizational values, inclusion, and equity at the community level.
• Model ethical behavior, respect, and professionalism.
• Support community learning and volunteer engagement.

Qualifications & Experience

Required
• Graduation in Agriculture, Social Work, Rural Development, or related fields.
• Minimum 0-3 years of experience in grassroots implementation.
Preferred
• Field experience in multi-sector programs and use of digital tools.

§ Knowledge of agricultural practices, Organic farming practices, water conservation methods and cropping pattern in Bihar

Skills & Competencies

Field Skills
• Community engagement and sensitization, participatory tools, and activity facilitation.
Reporting & Communication
• Basic documentation, data recording, and verbal communication in local language.
Personal Attributes
• Committed to rural development, proactive, and values driven.
