Job Description

• Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with students to discuss career aspirations, academic interests, and personal strengths.
• Engage with parents and teachers to provide information on career counseling services and encourage their involvement in the career planning process.
• Work closely with teachers, administrators, and community organizations to ensure a holistic approach to student career development etc.
• Provide one-on-one counseling sessions for students dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, and other mental health challenges
• Coordinate with the principal and parents to identify slums, bastis, and rural areas for visits to observe the local conditions and environment.
• Conduct workshops and seminars on mental health awareness, coping strategies, and emotional regulation for students and staff etc.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

Candidates possessing any one of the following qualifications are eligible:

• M.Sc. / M.A. in Psychology
• Applied Psychology
• Counselling Psychology
• Clinical Psychology o Child Psychology
• Adolescent Psychology
• M.Sc. / M.Phil. in Psychiatric Social Work
• M.Sc. in Psychiatric Nursing
• Master of Social Work (MSW) With specialization in Medical & Psychiatric Social Work or Counselling
•  B.A. / B.Sc. (Honours) in Psychology

With demonstrated proficiency in English (written & verbal)

Desirable:

• Working knowledge of Telugu language
• Diploma in Career Guidance & Counselling

Experience:

• NIL for the Postgraduate
• B.A /B.Sc. Psychology at least 2-year experience in counselling
