Job Description

In this role, You will lead volunteer engagement by collaborating with funders, internal teams, and communications to plan and implement activities. You will support the creation of donor materials, proposal development with cross-functional teams, and identify potential funders aligned with QUEST’s vision. You will build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective funders, enhance QUEST’s visibility through communication and events, and coordinate engagement efforts with marketing.

Additionally, you will ensure relevant reporting systems like volunteer and funder tracking dashboards are maintained.

Job Responsibilities

Volunteer Engagement:

• Work with funders and internal stakeholders to create employee engagement plans
• Lead the implementation of employee engagement across projects
• Work with funders and teams to get feedback, insights and recommendations on the engagement activities
• Work with communications team to plan social media posts on the engagement activities

Fundraising

• Support the Fundraising team in creation of collaterals and artefacts for donors and fundraising requirements
• Work with various internal teams like program, finance, operations and lead due diligence, proposal writing for new projects.
• Generate regular leads on potential funders - corporations and foundations that are aligned to QUEST’s vision and goals
• Support the team to ensure relevant systems like volunteer and funder tracking dashboards are maintained.

Relationship Management

• Position Quest as an organization of choice through regular communication and sharing insights from the ground/ knowledge from research
• Co-create communications and events that can be forums to engage existing and potential funders
• Ensure engagement areas with existing funders like regular cadence calls, participation in thought leadership events
• Work with marketing and communications team to plan the visibility on social media and other channels for funders

Reporting

• Ensure all the relevant data/reports are available. (Volunteering Dashboard, Funder grant tracking)

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Are passionate and have an understanding about the challenges India is facing in education and employability domain
• Ability to have strategic and big picture conversations with funders
• Diligent in their work and able to work with multiple teams to get things done.
• Can work independently is a go-getter and enjoys interacting with Indian and overseas philanthropy and is a great communicator
• Can deal with ambiguity and proactively explore solutions

Skill Sets:

• Experience in fundraising / networking / corporate volunteering activities is good to have
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Initiative, self driven and collaborative.
• Experience with creating aesthetic presentations and communication pieces that showcase the work holistically and creatively (PPT, Canva etc)
• Experience in using data and spreadsheets to create reports and show the impact of the work.
