Position: Gender Specialist

Qualifications Required:

• Master degree in Social Work/Social Science or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of work experience out of which 5 years should be in position with specialized role related to gender and women’s economic empowerment
• Demonstrable experience in more than one of the following: gender budget and audit, care economy, gender norms shifting tools, addressing gender based violence and discrimination in community and work place and women’s economic empowerment
• Sound knowledge and prior work experience in initiatives related to women’s economic empowerment in West Bengal is desired
• Prior experience of working in any bilateral/ multilateral funded project or Externally Aided Project will be a plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Bengali along with presentation ability and analytic competency.
