About the Organization

The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) is a research institute in New Delhi that specializes in the fields of energy, environment and sustainable development. Established in 1974, it was formerly known as the Tata Energy Research Institute. As the scope of its activities widened, it was renamed The Energy and Resources Institute in 2003.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct research on various aspects of electric mobility, including battery technology, charging infrastructure, and vehicle-to-grid integration.
• Perform simulation & experimentation to assess the impacts of EV integration in distribution systems.
• Prepare technical reports, research papers, and presentations to disseminate findings.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Post Graduate degree in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Qualified GATE or an equivalent national-level eligibility test.
• Prior experience in the power or renewable energy sector will be preferred.

Skills

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python- MATLAB- or Julia.
• Familiarity with power system modelling software e.g. DIgSILENT PowerFactory or similar.
• Ability to work on hardware and simulation platforms.
• Strong skills in Excel and Power-BI for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent communication and writing abilities.
