Job Description

Program Associate will ensure operational stability in terms of programs being delivered, partners supported, government relationship building and teams being managed efficiently in the Sagar Zone.

Job Responsibilities

  • Effective delivery of the operational plan in the Sagar zone, specifically in the NSTI and the Government ITIs.
  • Anchor Youth program interventions in the Sagar zone of Madhya Pradesh. 
  • Develop the model ITIs and demonstrate  Youth program deliverables
  • 100% facilitators and students to be onboarded on MyQuest App and ensure access to Quest Digital content in ITI ecosystem. Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure it. 
  • Ensure fortnightly cadence of visit in the allocated ITIs and organize regular sessions for learners and facilitators.
  • Ensure that all the trainers and centers gradually become independent and     adept at using the employability skills content.
  • Support in the development of operational plans to achieve high quality delivery against program objectives, quality standards and targets. 
  • Support the Program manager to regularly review processes and materials. 
  • Lead on identifying and evaluate potential risks related to impact of the program and take necessary steps to include risk mitigation in program reviews and design 
  • Ensure Student hub & Placement cell becomes an integral part of the program. 
  • Support the placement events in the given zone. Ensuring the 45% placement in specific zones, especially in nodal and women ITIs by collaborating with the placement team. 
  • Support the Self employment program implementation and selection of the potential youth. 
  • Actively look for new partnerships and support in onboarding them.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Employability Skills and the Vocational Training ecosystem.
  • Build knowledge of the MyQuest App and support its implementation across WITIs.
  • Engage and orient trainers and learners on using MyQuest App and/or Bharat Skills portal.
  • Mentor trainers to lead career sessions, market scans, exposure visits, and other activities as per prescribed handbooks.
  • Facilitate Job Readiness sessions, Market scans, Guest lectures, Exposure visits with industry partners.
  • Support and coach trainers in effective delivery of Employability Skills Curriculum and Career Development modules.
  • Assist in the setup of Career Clubs and Placement Cells within timelines.
  • Ensure timely implementation of job drives, self-employment activities, and industry exposure sessions.
  • Facilitate or co-lead training sessions regularly for trainers and students at the NSTI.
  • Share regular updates with Institute Principals and QA team on program progress
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government ITIs in the Sagarzone
  • Ensure all ITIs receive the appropriate support and updates to implement the program effectively. 
  • Organise and lead the capacity building activities (both online and offline) in coordination with the Capacity Building team. 
  • Ensure additional support needs of the Institutes are identified, assessed  and any reasonable adjustments are made to their journey. 
  • Support the development and implementation of innovative engagement  and retention processes. 
  • Support with the donor visits 
  • Lead the Principal Leadership Program in overall ITIs of Sagar zone. 
  • Ensure each Institute is able to meet the data reporting standard by   giving them the necessary inputs, support and having agreed timelines in place for reporting 
  • Support them with placement drives and other career connect activities 
  • Lead / Co-facilitate the training programs.  
  • Support the content review and contextualization whenever required. 
  • Document the program activities and ensure all the communications take place in a timely manner. 
  • Provide regular written and verbal reports tracking progress against the work plan and implementation schedules. Ensure all the program report including case studies, photographs reaches the M&E focal point at the stipulated time. 
  • Provide the monthly report and updates of the program implementation. 
  • Collect student data from the Institutes to help with the compilation of the donor report. 
  • Ensure students data is updated in the central database. 
  • Make sure trainers and Principals at the institute know about our work through simple monthly reports.
  • Lead the data management of the Institutes you manage. 
  • Ensure all the relevant data is available on time. 
  • Ensure the monitoring tools are understood by the team and are used for reporting. 
  • Support the M&E focal point with baseline, end line and other relevant assessments. 
  • Submit all the relevant monitoring reports on time. 
  • Ensure the program process is documented and enough case studies are in place to show the impact or progress of the program. 
  • Ensure the data is analysed and fed into the planning and review meeting. 
  • Take responsibility for effective program delivery, review implementation, and monitor within the agreed standards.
  • Ensure there is a proper work plan in place for your region and you are able to follow and deliver accordingly.
  • Be well versed with the content/curriculum of the program so as to ensure proper training delivery and support in the institute.
  • Regular visits to the institute to deliver training.
  • Support the Trainers in the institute to use QUEST content.
  • Ensure that the Trainers and institute gradually become independent and adept at using the content.
  • Participate and contribute in Training of Trainers.
  • Ensure the region deliverables and targets are fulfilled within the stipulated time frame.
  • Conduct monthly/quarterly review meetings with program stakeholders—Institute Principals/Superintendents, Trainers/Instructors, Placement Officers, etc.—to ensure quality delivery of programs.
  • Ensure Facilitators and Learners of ITI are accessing Employability Skills (ES) digital content on Quest App and delivering digital content in the Institute.
  • Support placement events and ensure 50% placement in the region.
  • Develop effective working relationships with institute Principals, Trainers, and Placement Officers for effective program implementation.
  • Support Thematic Teams—Placement, Training, Documentation, Data Tech, etc.—in your institute region and be the POC for your institute region.
  • Ensure region needs are met and fulfilled with the support of Thematic Teams.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience
