Launch Girls equips adolescent girls with the skills, agency, and support to access economic opportunities and change perceptions of their potential. When girls access the workforce and gain financial independence, they can break cycles of poverty and inequality for generations to come. Through our Girl Boss program, girls carve out their own path for the future, whether it's entrepreneurship, employment, or higher education. Operating since 2020, we have reached over 20,000 girls in 16 countries through a growing network of 32 partners.

Job Description

As a Program Associate at Launch Girls, you will be at the forefront of the program delivery and implementation. You will facilitate our flagship programs with adolescent girls. You will test, iterate, refine pedagogies, capture stakeholder feedback, and ensure effective implementation of the Launch Girls’ core philosophies.

Job Responsibilities

Program Facilitation and Implementation:

• Create safe, inclusive, and curious learning environments.
• Implement the program with adolescent girls using the Girl Boss curriculum.

Be able to use different strategies that increase girls’ ownership of learning

• Build strong relationships with girls and nurture collaboration among them.
• Document insights, challenges, and feedback from the field.

Mentorship and Support to Program Facilitators (College Lecturers/Partner Program Facilitators):

• Serve as a mentor to program facilitators.
• Support facilitators in navigating content, pedagogy & learner needs.
• Conduct periodic check-ins, observations, feedback, and debrief sessions.
• Help facilitators create peer-led reflective and collaborative learning spaces.

Program Innovation, Monitoring & Evaluation:

• Collaborate with the program design team to iterate and improve content, delivery styles, and methodologies.
• Contribute to refining program assumptions and innovation for scaling to more colleges.
• Monitor continuously, collect data, evidence, and track learner outcomes.
• Document qualitative and quantitative insights from learning labs.
• Contribute to storytelling and documentation of girls’ journeys.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Build trust and alignment with college lecturers, admin, and community members.
• Organize and conduct exposure visits, events, and workshops with stakeholders.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in facilitation/teaching youth programs (preferably girl-focused).
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Telugu is required.
• Communication, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly for work to field locations and relocate if needed
• Prior experience in education nonprofits, working with government stakeholders, fellowships, or youth-led initiatives is preferred.
• Preferred experience of working in government and/or budget private schools and/or colleges.
• Understanding of various pedagogical approaches and tried and tested methods from past experiences is a plus.

• Strong documentation, data management and reflection skills.
• Comfortable with technology (G-suite, WhatsApp groups, Zoom, etc.)

Salary

INR 3.6-5.4L per annum, commensurate with experience, and additional reimbursements for travel and outstation visits.
