Digital Bharat Collaborative (DBC), a part of Piramal Foundation, supports the government to transform the public healthcare system by building a robust digital delivery platform that ensures availability and accessibility of quality healthcare for all. Through this, we seek to enhance experiences of citizens in accessing government health services at the last mile.

This role will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • Community Mobilization & Engagement
  • Mobilize women, adolescent girls, SHGs, PRI members, and other community stakeholders for participation in project activities.
  • Create awareness on maternal and child health, nutrition, hygiene, immunization, and government health schemes (JSY, JSSK, Poshan Abhiyaan, etc.).
  • Build rapport and trust with community members to encourage health-seeking behaviour and institutional service uptake.
  • Health screening and counselling camps
  • Immunization and nutrition kit distribution
  • WASH campaigns and menstrual hygiene sessions
  • Nutri garden setup and maintenance
  • SAROTHI Peer Club activities
  • Assist in organizing and facilitating training programs, IEC sessions, and school-based events.
  • Support to CHVs and Field Teams
  • Provide day-to-day support and supervision to Community Health Volunteers (CHVs).
  • Ensure CHVs conduct timely home visits, follow-ups with pregnant/lactating women, and maintain field records.
  • Liaison & Convergence Support
  • Coordinate with frontline government workers (ASHA, ANM, AWW), school teachers, Anganwadi centres, and health facilities.
  • Support convergence with local departments (Health, ICDS, Education, PRI bodies) for joint activities and referrals.
  • Awareness & Behaviour Change Communication (BCC)
  • Organize and conduct community meetings, nukkad nataks (street plays), group discussions, and rallies.
  • Disseminate IEC/BCC materials in local language and explain key health messages to the target audience.
  • Monitoring & Reporting
  • Maintain activity-wise records: attendance sheets, beneficiary lists, photo documentation, and field reports.
  • Share weekly updates with District Coordinators and contribute inputs to MIS and documentation teams.
  • Assist in planning and executing celebrations of national and global health days (e.g., Poshan Maah, World Breastfeeding Week, Menstrual Hygiene Day).
  • Facilitate logistics and mobilization for health and awareness campaigns at the village level.

Qualification

Graduate or Postgraduate in Social Work, Rural Development, Sociology, Public Health, Community Health, or any other relevant discipline.

Experience required

  • Minimum 2 years in health-related project.
  • Local candidates will be given preference.

  • Effective verbal and written communication Skills
  • Good documentation skills
  • Basic computer and analytics skills
