Job Responsibilities

Portal-Based Monitoring & Reporting

• Upload and maintain district-wise details and contact numbers of Child Marriage Prohibition Officers (CMPOs) nationwide.
• Ensure timely reporting and data accuracy on the BVMB portal.

Monitoring CMPO Activities

• Track child marriages prevented/stopped and FIRs registered in cases where child marriage occurred.
• Analyze trends and prepare periodic reports for MWCD.

Support BVMB – 100 Days of Intensive Action

• Monitor budget utilization:
• Track activities conducted as per Ministry guidelines.

Complaint Mechanism Development

• Support development of a user-friendly complaint system linked to Government Helpline.
• Monitor action taken on complaints received via the portal and analyze patterns.

Data Analysis & Reporting

• Analyze district-wise progress on child marriage prevalence, with special focus on 257 high-burden districts.
• Monitor villages declared child marriage-free and continuous progress updates.

IEC & Communication Support

• Develop posters, films, and digital content for awareness campaigns.
• Populate MWCD BVMB portal with downloadable IEC materials and live district updates.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Education: Master’s in Social Work, Law, Public Policy, Child Rights, or related fields.
• Experience: 3–6 years of experience in child protection laws, policies, and program implementation.
• Strong understanding of Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, POCSO Act, and related frameworks.
• Experience in monitoring & evaluation, data analysis, and reporting.
• Familiarity with government systems, portals, and large-scale program implementation.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders including government officials.
• Proficiency in MS Office and data visualization tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Additional Requirements

• This position requires successful completion of a reference check and employment verification.
• The successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as described.
