Job Description
Title of the Project Rangewide Estimation of River Dolphin-2 nd Cycle
Oversee project implementation across multiple states, including planning and executing field surveys on Ganges River dolphins. Responsibilities include ecological data collection, monitoring river :: 2 :: dynamics, conducting comprehensive biodiversity assessments, analysing datasets, and preparing detailed technical reports.
Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience
- Doctoral Degree in Science AND Seven years' experience (after obtaining required degree) in R&D in industrial and academic institutions or Science & Technology organisations and scientific activities and services
OR
- Master's Degree in Engineering & Technology from a recognised university or equivalent, AND Seven years' experience (after obtaining required degree) in R&D in industrial and academic institutions or Science & Technology organisations and scientific activities and services
Desirable Qualification(s)
- Candidates with prior experience in freshwater ecology, particularly in research on Ganges River dolphins and associated biodiversity, are preferred.
