SHG Team Leader
Organization: Sambhav Social Service Organisation

The SHG Program Leader will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring SHG-related activities at the community level. The role demands strong leadership, field engagement, and coordination skills to strengthen SHG institutions and ensure measurable social and economic outcomes.
Monthly Remuneration: Rs.22000 (CTC , Inclusive of all costs)
Key Responsibilities
Program Implementation
Mobilize and strengthen women Self Help Groups in assigned communities
Facilitate regular SHG meetings and ensure proper group functioning
Support savings, internal lending, and basic financial discipline
Promote livelihood activities and income-generation initiatives
Capacity Building
Coordination & Linkages
Facilitate linkage of SHGs with banks, government schemes, and local institutions
Coordinate with field teams, community leaders, and local stakeholders
Support convergence with other E-Community program components
Monitoring & Reporting
Maintain SHG records, attendance, and activity documentation
Track progress against program indicators
Submit regular field reports to the Program Manager
Eligibility Criteria
Education
Preferred: Graduate in Social Work, Rural Development, Sociology, or related fields
Experience
Minimum 2–3 years of experience working with SHGs, women collectives, or community development programs
Prior field-based NGO or CSR project experience preferred
Skills & Competencies
Strong community mobilization and communication skills
Leadership and team coordination ability
Basic documentation and reporting skills
Willingness to work extensively in the field
Local language proficiency mandatory
Reporting To
Program Manager
Working Conditions
Field-intensive role requiring daily community visits
Occasional weekend or extended-hour work during community events
