Job Description

We seek to hire a Senior Associate/Associate for Multimodal AI to contribute and guide projects in artificial intelligence systems that integrate multiple data types, such as audio, video, text, EEG, images, and sensor data. The senior associate will support the development of multimodal AI models, collaborate with research teams, and align efforts with the organization's goals in Human-Computer Interaction, focusing on practical implementation and technology translation.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and conduct experiments for data generation, curation, annotation, and performance evaluation for Multimodal AI to improve model effectiveness and generalization based on use cases.
• Contribute to the development and prototyping of multimodal AI models for applications in HCI, including audio-visual integration, emotion recognition, or content analysis.
• Assist in training, debugging, and optimizing AI algorithms using frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Support research on techniques such as contrastive learning, self-supervised learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), Language Vision Models (LVMs), and Multimodal Large Language Vision Models (MLLVMs).
• Collaborate with teams on building scalable pipelines and preparing insights for publications or deployments.
• Collaborate with research scientists, engineers, and students on project execution.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering or Master’s program in Computer Applications (MCA), AI, Machine Learning, or a related fields with a CGPA of 7.0 or higher preferred.
• 3+ years in AI/ML

Desirable Experience & Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, with knowledge of C++ or Java.
• Expertise in deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience with multimodal AI tools such as HuggingFace Transformers and OpenAI CLIP, LangChain, LlamaIndex, and vector databeses (e.g Qdrant).
• Proficiency in libraries like NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, OpenCV.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS SageMaker or Google Cloud AI.
• Knowledge of MLOps tools such as MLflow or Weights & Biases.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and model deployment (CI/CD) solutions.
• Solid understanding of computer vision (e.g., Classification, Object Detection, Segmentation).
• Knowledge of NLP techniques (e.g., tokenization, transformers, BERT).
• Experience with audio processing and multimodal fusion methods.
• Proficiency in Git and experiment tracking tools like Neptune.
• Understanding of statistical analysis and experimental design.

Salary

Up to INR 75,000/- per month, based on institute norms and experience.
