Digital Bharat Collaborative (DBC), a part of Piramal Foundation, supports the government to transform the public healthcare system by building a robust digital delivery platform that ensures availability and accessibility of quality healthcare for all. Through this, we seek to enhance experiences of citizens in accessing government health services at the last mile.
This role will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Plan and lead nutrition-focused activities, including:
- Exclusive nutrition camps for pregnant/lactating mothers and children (0–6 years
- Community-based sessions on balanced diet, weaning food, and malnutrition management.

- Development and distribution of nutrition kits with guidance on usage and dietary benefits.
- Support the establishment and promotion of community nutrition gardens (Poshan Vatika/Bagicha) with locally available produce.
- Provide counselling on nutrition-related conditions such as anaemia, underweight, stunting, dietary diversity, and maternal health needs.
- Design and conduct trainings for CHVs, SHGs, adolescent girls, and community members on:
- Safe food preparation using local ingredients.
- WASH, hygiene practices, and home-based care.
- Facilitate practical demonstrations on cooking, food hygiene, and nutrition garden usage.
- Collaborate with Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) and resource persons for technical sessions and training modules.
- Develop context-specific training modules, handouts, and IEC materials (in local language) related to nutrition, health, and hygiene.
- Ensure integration of behaviour change communication (BCC) tools in all nutrition-related trainings.
- Track and document nutrition outcomes, training coverage, and capacity-building progress.
- Maintain training records, pre/post assessments, and nutrition camp reports in coordination with MIS and Documentation teams.
- Community Engagement & Support
- Provide one-on-one counselling to high-risk or malnourished beneficiaries identified during camps or home visits.
- Support adolescent girls and school teachers in menstrual hygiene and nutrition awareness sessions.
- Engage SHGs in preparing and promoting low-cost nutritious recipes as part of awareness drives.
- Health & ICDS departments for growth monitoring, referral support, and supplementation schemes.
- Field team & CHVs to ensure follow-up and continuity of nutrition support at the household level.
Experience required
- Minimum 2-5 years in relevant experience in Community nutrition programs, maternal and child health, or WASH-related interventions.
- Local candidates will be given preference.
Essential Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food & Nutrition, Dietetics, Home Science, Community Nutrition, or Public Health Nutrition
- Effective verbal and written communication Skills
- Good documentation skills
- Basic computer and analytics skills
