About the Organisation:
Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), popularly known as Pusa Institute is the leading institution for agricultural research, education and extension in the country. The Institute has been doing pioneering work in various fields of agricultural engineering, microbiology, seed science, soil technology and other areas. The Water Technology Centre (WTC) in IARI is an inter-disciplinary facility for research, teaching, training and extension in agricultural water management. The Institute has 8 regional stations across the country.

About the Project

Molecular breeding for improvement for tolerance to biotic and abiotic stresses, yield and quality trait is crops (Mustard)

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience:

• Masters degree in Genetics/Plant Breeding/Genetics and Plant Breeding/ Biotechnology with 4/5 years bachelors degree.
• Those with 3 years bachelors degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET Qualification or equivalent or Ph.D in any of the above disciplines.
• Experience is use of molecular markers
• Proficiency in computer skills
