About the Organisation:
Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), popularly known as Pusa Institute is the leading institution for agricultural research, education and extension in the country. The Institute has been doing pioneering work in various fields of agricultural engineering, microbiology, seed science, soil technology and other areas. The Water Technology Centre (WTC) in IARI is an inter-disciplinary facility for research, teaching, training and extension in agricultural water management. The Institute has 8 regional stations across the country.

About the Project

Evaluation, outreach and up scaling of fermented organic manures for sustainably enhancing productivity and reducing environmental footprints of predominant cropping systems in India.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc. Agriculture)
• Experience of conducting on-farm trials (farmer’s field experimentation), and well versed with soil and plant nutrient analysis
• Knowledge in computer applications, statistical analysis of data, interpretation of results and report writing etc.
• Salary Rs. 30,000/- per month fixed.
• Upper age Limit: 40 years
