About the Organization:

The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIMC) was established as the first national institute for Post-Graduate studies and Research in Management by the Government of India in November 1961 in collaboration with Alfred P. Sloan School of Management (MIT), the Government of West Bengal, The Ford Foundation and Indian industry. The vision of the Institute is to emerge as an International Centre of Excellence in all facets of Management Education, rooted in Indian ethos and societal values. Over the past four decades, IIM Calcutta has blossomed into one of Asia's finest Business Schools.

MBA for Executives Programme

MBA for Executives Programme is IIM Calcutta's One Year Full Time Residential Programme meant for Executives with more than five years of professional experience. IIM Calcutta is the first management institute in the country to be Triple Crowned – to be accredited by AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS, i.e., accredited by all the three major accreditation agencies in the world for management education. Only 5 other business schools in Asia and 73 business schools around the world are currently ‘Triple Accredited’.

It provides mid-career professionals the ideal platform to augment their existing skill sets as they endeavour to armour themselves for senior and top management roles in the industry. The management programme since its inception in 2006, has spawned alumni who have demonstrated excellence in the leadership positions that they have occupied in their organizations.

Eligibility Criteria

• A bachelor's degree (minimum 10+2+3 years of formal education) or equivalent in any discipline
• At least 5 years of full time post qualification managerial/professional experience as on March 31, 2021.
• Valid GMAT Score (taken within last 36 months of application date).

Selection Procedure

Assessment of the candidates is based on:

• Academic background
• Professional experience
• GMAT score
• Personal interviews
• Statement of purpose &
• Recommendation

Please note that Institute does not use any pre-determined GMAT score. An overall assessment is made on the basis of all these factors for selecting candidates for admission. Batch Profiles give an idea about the work experience and academic highlights of the last five batches.

Program Fees: Programme fee for the academic year 2021-22 will be Indian Rupees 27,00,000/- (non-refundable) or equivalent US$ for one year, payable in four instalments.
