About the Organization

SBI Foundation is the CSR arm of the State Bank of India. Upholding its tradition of service beyond banking, the Foundation operates in over 28 States and Union Territories of India, focusing on Rural Development, Healthcare, Education, Livelihood & Entrepreneurship, Youth Empowerment, Promotion of Sports, and more. About the Fellowship

The SBIF Asha Scholarship Program for Overseas Education 2024-25, one of India's largest scholarship programs, is an initiative of the SBI Foundation under its education vertical - Integrated Learning Mission (ILM). This program aims to provide financial assistance to meritorious students from low-income families across India, ensuring the continuity of their education. This scholarship is open to SC/ST students pursuing a master’s or postgraduate course (any year) at a premier university/college outside India.

Selected students can receive a scholarship of up to INR 20 lakh for a year to support their educational endeavours.

Eligibility

• Applicants must be Indian nationals.
• Applicants must belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) or Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories.
• Applicants must be pursuing a master’s or above course (any year) at a premier university/college outside India
• Students must have secured 75% marks or above in their previous academic year.
• Students with a gross annual family income of up to INR 6,00,000 are eligible to apply.

• Login to Buddy4Study with your registered ID and land on the ‘Application Form Page.’
• You will now be redirected to the ‘SBIF Asha Scholarship Program for Overseas Education 2024-25’ application form page.
• Click on the ‘Start Application’ button to begin the application process, fill in the required details in the online application form, and upload relevant documents.
• Accept the ‘Terms and Conditions’ and click on ‘Preview’. 
• If all the details filled in by the applicant are correctly showing on the preview screen, click the ‘Submit’ button to complete the application process 
• • If not registered, register at Buddy4Study with your Email/Mobile/Google account.
