Water underpins every aspect of human and environmental existence. The severe water challenges facing the world today require an unprecedented global response. IWA members are situated in 140 countries worldwide, forming the largest international network of water professionals working towards a water wise world.

Innovative, solutions- and service- oriented, we work across a range of areas that contribute to the progression of water management worldwide. Transformation cannot take place on its own in a vacuum. Rather the ideas for solutions to these challenges will be fomented and rigorously debated among the IWA’s institutions and membership.

The International Water Association is an open, yet ordered platform in which both innovators and adopters of new technologies and approaches can generate creative friction. It is a place for diffusion, benchmarking and evidence.

About the Event

The International Water Association (IWA) is pleased to announce the dates of the eagerly awaited third edition of its Digital Water Summit, which will take place on 12-14 November 2024 in the heart of Bilbao, Spain.

With the digital revolution continuing to reshape industries worldwide, this pivotal business-to-business event will once again convene water leaders, innovators, and experts from around the world to explore the latest advances in digital technologies and solutions for the water sector.

The 2024 Digital Water Summit is co-organised by IWA with Consorcio de Aguas Bilbao Bizkaia, the water utility in the region, and AEAS, the IWA’s Governing Member in Spain. It serves as a premier platform for fostering collaboration, sharing insights, and driving innovation within the water sector. Building upon the success of previous editions, the upcoming summit promises to deliver unparalleled opportunities for networking, learning, and exchange of ideas

In anticipation of this landmark event, IWA has officially opened the call for content. Industry pioneers and technology providers are invited to submit proposals indicating the type of presentation they would like to deliver. This offers a unique opportunity for individuals and organizations to showcase their expertise, highlight innovative projects, and contribute to shaping the future of digital water management.

From advances in smart sensors and data analytics to the integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning, the summit will delve into the transformative potential of digital technologies in addressing the most pressing challenges facing the water sector.

Interested speakers and presenters are encouraged to submit their proposals at www.surveymonkey.com/r/2024DWS. The deadline for submissions is 19 May 2024.
