About the Organization

Preserving biodiversity: this is the first fight of the Yves Rocher Foundation. He is positive; it is a fight for life. The mission of our Foundation is to put biodiversity at the heart of everyone's daily life, by providing support and financial aid for local, alternative and powerful actions in the four corners of the planet. 100 million trees planted is the goal that we will soon achieve thanks to close collaboration with our experts, associations and NGOs working in the field. And there are also more than 500 Terre de Femmes laureates who work in more than 50 countries for the common good of our planet.

The Foundation is collective and its plural approach is definitely action-oriented. Our main players? Scientists, planters, a large community of committed photographers, women who have chosen to change the world on their own scale.

Since 2020, our Foundation has been recognized as being of public utility, which is a true recognition of these 25 years of sustained and tireless actions in the field. A new page is turning to affirm even stronger our desire to act and our essential link to nature.

About the Prize

The Photo Prize - Yves Rocher Foundation is awarded to a professional photographer wishing to carry out journalistic work on issues linked to the environment, the relationships between humans and the Earth, and the major issues of sustainable development.

Produced in partnership with Visa pour l'Image – Perpignan, it gives you the opportunity to obtain a grant of €8,000.

Also, your work will be exhibited at the La Gacilly Photo Festival. It will also be screened at the International Photojournalism Festival “VISA POUR L’IMAGE – Perpignan”
