About the Organization

Anheuser-Busch InBev, or AB InBev, is a multinational drinks conglomerate headquartered in Belgium. It's the world's largest beer brewer by both volume and revenue, operating more than 600 beer brands in 150 countries.

The 100+ Accelerator was launched by AB InBev in 2018 to help the company reach its ambitious sustainability goals faster by finding startups that could deliver breakthrough advancements across five key sustainability pillars—water stewardship, smart agriculture, circular packaging, climate action and upcycling. In its first two cohorts, more than half of the startups secured long term contracts with AB InBev. In 2021, The Coca-Cola Company, Colgate-Palmolive Company and Unilver joined AB InBev’s 100+ Accelerator to fund and pilot sustainable innovation in supply chains. In its first three cohorts, the 100+ Accelerator has worked with 70 startups in over 20 countries.

About the Grant

You will receive support from a global team champion, access to mentor networks and up to $100K toward pilot execution.

We´re looking for startups that have solutions to the Corona Plastic Free Challenge.

Corona is a brand born at the beach, deeply connected with nature and appreciative of all that it has to offer. As a brand that aspires to eliminate plastic from the Oceans, we are looking for passionate entrepreneurs from across the globe to help us find new ideas or technologies that can become new standards for reducing or eliminating plastic from the consumer goods industry. Corona took on an extensive assessment  of its operations to identify any remaining plastic usage throughout its global supply chain, including its logistics process. This report identified two areas that require further innovation and new thinking to reduce or eliminate plastic, these two established the foundations of the Corona Plastic-Free Challenges. Reinforcing our commitment to finding sustainable technologies to protect nature, Corona will offer 100,000 USD per startup to build and scale innovative solutions for plastics reduction through the 100+ Accelerator.
