INTRODUCTION

Nature Conservancy India Solutions Private Limited (NCIS) is a Private Limited Company incorporated under The Companies Act, 2013. It is a subsidiary of The Nature Conservancy, one of the largest not for-profit conservation organisations in the world. NCIS was incorporated with the objective of providing research, consulting, technical support, and advisory services to various stakeholders in and outside India relating to conservation of nature, environment, biodiversity, and climate change.
PURPOSE
The main purpose of this video is to showcase the work NCIS has done for the past years to restore the riparian areas of the Narmada River in the Narmada Puram/Hoshangabad District. This includes showcasing riparian restoration work as well as how NCIS worked with local communities to achieve its goal and will hand over the restored areas to the community at the end of the project duration. The video footage is to be collected from different areas in the Narmada Puram District.
Key Tasks
- Develop engaging pitches/stories/scripts for the video with the consultation of NCIS’s communication and program team.
- Highlight unique angle of riparian restoration work in the video with step-by-step process.
- Use the video clip and photos taken earlier by NCIS.
- Develop interview questions for stakeholders with the consultation of NCIS’s communication and program team.
- Travel to the sites for video shoot.
- Collect video footage by using both a drone and high-end camera.
- Collect video Footage of stakeholder’s interview with their recorded voice.
- Each video story should cover the following themes: Human-River Nexus, Biodiversity Connection, Cultural and Socio-Economic Aspects, health of riparian habitat, Agriculture at Riverscape and Community Participation.
- In the final visual recording, overlay the recorded voices with the voice-over. Add instrumental cultural music (related to Narmada), logos, and credits that will enhance the final version.
- Finalize the video shoot framework and edit with consultation with the NCIS team.
CONTRACT TYPE AND CONTRACT SERVICES
NCIS will entertain under this, RFP Cost-Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) completion type contract(s).
TOTAL OR PARTIAL BIDS
We welcome bids from bidders for successful implementation of the activities as mentioned in Key Objectives, such as to provide communications and PR support for NCIS and its projects/program which would help enhance the visibility and marketability of NCIS and its projects. NCIS reserves the right to postpone or cancel the bidding process for one or more clusters with no prior notice.
ESTIMATED COSTS AND FIXED FEE
The costs allowable will be limited to reasonable, allocable, and necessary costs. The financial bid should be prepared in accordance with the cost elements outlined below and Bidders should clearly identify their margin as part of their financial bids.
- The estimated cost of project execution is – INR X (TBD upon Award)
- The estimated fee for project execution is – INR Y (TBD upon Award, can be a fixed amount or %)
- Applicable Taxes (if any) is - INR Z
Total Cost-plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) is – INR X+Y+Z

PLACE AND PERIOD FOR PERFORMANCE
Place: Surrounding areas of Narmada River, Narmada Puram, MP
Period: July - Sept 24
Please detail key objectives:
The main objective of this endeavor is to highlight the work done by NCIS in the riparian zones of the Narmada River in the Narmada Puram District of MP. It should also showcase the community participation of undertaken during the execution of the project.
Minimum Qualifications:
The bidder is expected to put together a technical team of communications professionals to deliver the assignment. Below are the desirable experience, skills, and competencies of the team:
- Substantial experience in undertaking video production, with emphasis on skillful outdoor
- shooting, especially for impactfully showcasing social work by NGOs, charities as well as international orgs such a UN agency.
- At least 5-7 years of agency being in the business of video production.
- Use of high-quality camera as well as drone equipment. Availability of skillful studio editor as well others such as voice-over artists.

PRE-BID QUERIES AND CLARIFICATIONS ON RFP
To clarify technical queries (excluding cost and fee) on RFP, Bidders must submit questions via email to Jasmeet.singh@tnc.org and n.suryawanshi@tnc.org and any query relating to cost, bid price, etc. must be submitted to jayalakshmi.nair@tnc.org (copying in Jasmeet.singh@tnc.org and n.suryawanshi@tnc.org) by no later than 11:59pm IST, 12 July 2024. NCIS will make every effort to answer questions by 15 July 2024, before the scheduled pre-proposal meeting on 16 July 2024. Answers to all questions will be shared with all Bidders.
SUBMISSION OF PROPOSAL
Last date for submission of proposal is 24 July 2024, by 11:59pm IST.
Technical and Financial Proposals are required in soft copy only. The subject line of the email submission should state “RFP for Narmada Video” and will be shared at:

Financial Bid must accompany with the following documents:
1) Copy of incorporation documents.
2) Copy of registration certificate under income tax and GST (If applicable). 3) Copy of last three years audited financial statements with audit report. 4) Copy of last three years income tax return.
5) Copy of last two GST returns.
6) Copy of address proof.
7) List of similar project executed with name of client, year of execution, and value.
Note: - You are requested to send all financial information in one go to avoid disqualification if any. Bids with incomplete financial information will be rejected summarily.
Submission of the proposal to any other individual will result in the disqualification of the proposal. Bidder can submit only one bid. Submitting multiple bids under different name will result in automatic disqualification.
