Position: Communications Associate
Location: Hyderabad, India

Position Overview
Healing Fields Foundation is seeking a passionate and creative Communications Associate to support our efforts in improving rural health and expanding access to care for marginalized populations. In this role, you will craft compelling narratives, develop content for blogs, newsletters, and donor reports, and manage social media platforms to showcase the organization’s mission and achievements. You will play a vital role in ensuring program visibility, strengthening donor relationships, and raising awareness about the challenges and solutions in providing equitable healthcare to underserved communities.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

• Develop and edit engaging blog posts, newsletters, and other materials to highlight program achievements and the Foundation’s mission.
• Collaborate with program teams to source impactful stories and insights from the field.

Donor Report Management

• Prepare clear, accurate, and engaging donor reports to communicate program outcomes and maintain transparency.
• Coordinate with program staff to gather data and insights necessary for impactful reporting.

Social Media Management

• Design, create, and manage content for social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.) to build awareness and engagement.
• Monitor trends and analytics to optimize content and maximize outreach.

Storytelling and Advocacy

• Identify and develop compelling stories that spotlight the impact of the Foundation’s work on individuals and communities.
• Craft sensitive and empathetic narratives, particularly around rural health challenges, access to care, and the empowerment of marginalized populations.

Brand Messaging

• Maintain consistent, mission-aligned messaging across all communications channels.
• Support the development of marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and reports.

Community-Centric Approach

• Ensure all communications are culturally sensitive, respectful, and tailored to the social contexts of the communities we serve.

Qualifications

●       Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Social Sciences, or a related field.

●       Experience: 0–4 years of experience in communications, content writing, or a similar role; prior nonprofit experience is a strong advantage.

●       Skills:

1. Exceptional writing and editing abilities, with a talent for creating inspiring and compassionate content.
2. Basic proficiency in Hindi to effectively engage with diverse communities.
3. Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools.
4. Graphic design or basic multimedia skills are a plus.

●       Attributes:

1. Passion for nonprofit work and a commitment to improving healthcare access in underserved areas.
2. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
3. Creativity, initiative, and a collaborative mindset.
