About the Organization
The Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) is a public private initiative that has collaboratively evolved through consultations with multiple constituencies including Indian and international academia, state and central governments, multi & bi-lateral agencies and civil society groups. PHFI is a response to redress the limited institutional capacity in India for strengthening training, research and policy development in the area of Public Health.
Job Description/Responsibilities
- Coordinator-Facility-level training has to expedite the process of selection of MT with the support of the respective regional team and SACS considering their area of expertise.
- The Position has to extend support to the Regional team for assessment of the training load of the state (ICTC, DSRC, OST, ART. CSC. NRL/SRL. COE Facilities level ) and SACS, DISHA and DACO officials.
- Extended support to the regional team on preparation of training calendar based on training load considering geography, language, and position (Clinical / Non-Clinical) specific.
- Coordinator- Facilities level training has to update the NACO divisional heads/concern point person on the progress of training activities on a Monthly and quarterly basis.
- Shorted out the field-level issues/challenges in consultation with NACO divisional point person.
- The Position has to demonstrate the ability to plan projects, understand budgets, and implement time-bound activities.
- Strong analytical, conceptual and strategic thinking skills. Any other work assigned by the Project Lead / Team Lead.
- Close coordination with all the relevant Stakeholders.
- Administration and Training Management.
- Data Collection, Documentation and Reporting.
- Training Reports, Meeting Reports, Activity Reports.
- The position will require travel as per the need.
- Any other work assigned by the Team Lead/Project Lead
Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Post-Graduation in Social Sciences/ MSW/ MPH, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in public health programs.
Experience:
Essential:
- Around 05 years of experience with donor funded projects.
- Proven track record of professional, timely and high-quality consultancy assignments in the field of health sector.
Desirable
- Working experience in HIV/AIDS program.
- Experience in managing / leading the teams.
- Good writing skill in English, Hindi and regional languages.
