Why Do We Want This Position Filled?

●       To set-up and drive EHS service and related processes at TBL

●       To enable the best client service delivery

●       To oversee EHS processes, documentation, and compliance for clients.

What Do We Expect From This Position:

The scope of the accountabilities of the role includes (but is not limited to)

1. EHS Service at TBL

●       Develop and deliver EHS training programs and workshops

●       Prepare EHS reports report frameworks

●       Develop SoPs for EHS related activities (e.g. Gemba walk)

●       Develop mock drills, emergency preparedness, and compliance checks

1. Oversight of clients’ EHS systems

●       Implement & monitor EHS Management Plans for clients

●       Conduct internal audits & inspections to assess EHS compliance

●       Set mechanisms for Identification & reporting of  unsafe acts, conditions, & behaviors, alongside recommending corrective actions

●       Lead 5S (workplace management system) implementation to improve safety and efficiency

●       Support documentation and record-keeping in line with regulatory requirements and best practices

How Does Our Ideal Candidate Look Like?

Education & Experience

●       Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Safety, or any related field

●       2+ years of experience in an EHS role, preferably in manufacturing, automotive, or sustainability consulting

●       Familiarity with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other relevant EHS standards is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

●       Strong knowledge of EHS laws, regulations, and compliance frameworks in India

●       Excellent observation, analytical, communication and training skills

●       Ability to conduct risk assessments and drive continuous improvement initiatives

●       Proficiency in EHS reporting, audits, and safety documentation

●       Passion for sustainability and workplace safety

Objective 2     : Ensure Clients’ EHS Compliance
