Job Description/Responsibilities

Fashion for Good seeks an Innovation Intern who will be responsible for supporting FFG work in scaling innovation within the Scaling (Materials) team. The role will support circularity initiatives based in India.

The role will include the following activities/responsibilities:

• Support the implementation of circularity initiatives aimed at addressing key challenges such as feedstock and infrastructure, to scale circular systems and promote sustainable business models in the Indian waste ecosystem.
• Conduct research on waste and circularity, maintaining data in a clear and efficient manner for both internal and external use.
• Analyse data and provide insights to inform decision-making on circularity initiatives, ensuring research findings are clearly communicated.
• Collaborate with project teams to support activities and assist with day-to-day operations.
• Contribute to internal and external communications by providing backend support and creating presentation decks.
• Support the broader team with administrative tasks.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate has a relevant track record and combines strong interpersonal skills with a self-starting, proactive attitude.

The following skills/knowledge are essential:

• Strong understanding of the supply chain and the fashion industry
• Good knowledge of textile waste and circularity
• Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail
• Strong Google slides, Google sheets and presentation skills
• Ability to adapt to various environments and settings
• Proactive with strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Creative thinker with sound judgment and a high level of accountability
• Enthusiastic, can-do attitude and comfortable navigating uncertainty

Education

• Academic degree (Bachelor or Masters) preferably within apparel/textiles, business administration, innovation or sustainability.

Language

• Proficiency in English is a requirement.
