Job Description

Applications are invited for the temporary post of Junior Executive - Technology Transfer Office (TTO), Office of IC&SR, IIT Madras.

• Prepare Value Proposition/Tech. Flyer document for assigned IDFs
• Excellent Excel skill including formula and preparing pivotal chars
• Account knowledge, invoice, debit note, receipt tracking
• Run keyword and classification searches in free and subscription databases
• Summarize key findings in a short technical memo/PPT for Manager review.
• Enter and update patent docket milestones, invention metadata, and licence records in PIS.
• Compile weekly pipeline snapshots: new disclosures, docket deadlines, and outreach metrics.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience

• Any Graduate degree with 0-2 Years’ experiences preferably in IP or academic project management.

Key skills:

• Basic understanding of patents, copyrights, and trade secrets (formal certification or coursework is a plus).Comfortable navigating patent databases and synthesising technical information. Proficiency with MS Office/Google Workspace, patent search platforms, and CRM or IPMS software manage the TTO shared mailbox.

Salary

Max. Rs. 30,000/- pm (depending on skill level and experience)
