The individual in this role shall develop and drive DBF’s program at the location.
Responsibilities & Duties
Support the Regional Head in development of business plan for foundation’s Initiatives in the region.
Review day to day activities as per plan in the villages (e.g. formation / holding monthly meetings of SHGs, organizing field level camps etc.)
Review of field level information / data related to programs.
Represent Foundation in front of external stakeholders like Govt. officers, development agencies etc.
Support the Unit, Regional and HO team in formulation of policies, reports & other compliance. Execute the branding and visibility plan
Facilitate in conducting various need base survey and studies.
Develop good relations with the local community i.e. Village Pradhans, other key important stakeholders, for seeking their support in the implementation of programs. Submit monthly progress reports to Regional Head.
Conceptualize ideas / programs and share with senior team for project formulation.
Any other work as and when assigned by Regional Head.
Desired Candidate-Profile:
Post-Graduate in Social Work / Rural development/ Sociology/ Development Studies with 8 years to 10 years’ experience in rural development sector working with NGOs, Corporate Foundations or similar organisations.
Good communication skills in local language and English
Proactive in developing relationships with the community / stakeholders
Computer Skills, especially in making PowerPoint Presentations , creating Data-sheets in excel
Should have preferably worked in work location
Willing to travel across location and other States as and when required
Should be good in Analytical skills to evaluate and execute projects
