Position Overview:

The Manager of CSR and Government Collaboration is responsible for developing and managing the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives in alignment with government policies and regulations. This role involves working closely with government agencies, community organizations, and internal stakeholders to foster partnerships, promote sustainable practices, and drive impactful social responsibility programs.

The Role and Responsibilities:

Strategy and Partnership Development:

  • Develop and implement CSR strategies that align with government policies and the company’s mission and goals.
  • Identify opportunities for collaboration with government agencies to advance social and environmental initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment of CSR initiatives with local, national, and international regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with corporate partners to identify CSR initiatives that align with their goals and the needs in the state
  • Develop proposals and secure funding for social impact projects in collaboration with government and corporate partners.

Government and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, regulatory bodies, community organizations, and industry partners.
  • Represent the company in meetings with government agencies and at public forums, conferences, and events.
  • Advocate for the company’s CSR objectives and sustainability goals in discussions with government representatives.

Program and Project Management:

  • Plan, execute, and oversee CSR projects that involve collaboration with government entities.
  • Develop project plans, set objectives, and manage budgets and resources.
  • Monitor project progress, ensure milestones are met, and evaluate the outcomes and impact of initiatives.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to CSR and government collaboration.
  • Develop and implement metrics to assess the impact and effectiveness of CSR initiatives.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on CSR activities, including compliance status and project outcomes, to senior leadership and government stakeholders.

Communication and Advocacy:

  • Develop and execute communication strategies to promote CSR initiatives and engage government and community stakeholders.
  • Create educational materials and deliver training programs to enhance understanding and participation in CSR activities.
  • Coordinate CSR campaigns and events to raise awareness and drive engagement with government and community partners.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay informed about the latest trends, best practices, and innovations in CSR, sustainability, and government collaboration.
  • Identify and implement new approaches and technologies to enhance the effectiveness and impact of CSR programs.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the CSR team and across the organization.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS) in a related field is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in CSR, sustainability, or related fields, with a proven track record of managing successful CSR programs.
  • Experience in leading and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and measure the impact of CSR initiatives.
  • Strong strategic planning and project management skills
  • Analytical skills to measure and report the impact of social initiatives using relevant metrics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CSR reporting tools.
  • Creativity and innovation in developing CSR solutions.
