Position Overview:

The Manager - Research and Insights will play a crucial role in driving research and insights across the CSRBOX Group. This role involves conducting in-depth research on emerging areas of social impact, including climate change, technology, and sustainable development, to identify new opportunities and inform strategic decision-making. The incumbent will also lead a team of Research Associates and fulfill on-demand research requirements for the organization and its clients.

The Role and Responsibilities:

Research and Analysis:

1. Conduct in-depth research on emerging trends, best practices, and innovations in the social impact sector, including climate change, technology, and sustainable development.
2. Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities for the CSRBOX Group.
3. Conduct desk research, interviews, surveys, and other data collection methods to gather relevant information.
4. Analyze and interpret research data to generate actionable insights and recommendations.

Project Support:

1. Lead and manage research projects for clients, including needs assessments, impact evaluations, and market research.
2. Develop research methodologies, collect and analyze data, and prepare comprehensive research reports.
3. Ensure the quality and accuracy of research findings.

Team Leadership:

1. Lead and mentor a team of Research Associates, providing guidance, training, and support.
2. Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely project delivery.
3. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Knowledge Management:

1. Develop and maintain a knowledge repository of research findings, best practices, and industry trends.
2. Disseminate research findings through presentations, reports, and publications.

Client Engagement:

1. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
2. Present research findings to clients in a clear and concise manner.
3. Address client queries and provide ongoing support.

Qualification and Experience:

• Master's degree in Social Sciences, Economics, Development Studies, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in research, data analysis, and report writing.
• Strong academic record with a minimum of 60% throughout their academic career.
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, R).
• Experience in leading and mentoring teams is preferred.
