Job Position

Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Expert

Location: Hosur
No. of Position: 1
CTC: 6 – 7.8 LPA (Depending on the relevant experience)

About the Position

The Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Expert will support the monitoring, reporting, and data management of skill development projects implemented by BharatCares at the ground level. The role involves tracking project performance, preparing MIS and donor reports, coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring quality assurance, and maintaining compliance for CSR-funded skilling programs, particularly in technical trades of CNC, Mechatronics, and Electric Vehicles (EV).

The candidate will work closely with implementation teams, clients, donors, and training partners to ensure accurate reporting, effective project monitoring, and timely submission of project updates and analytical reports.

Key Responsibilities

1. Monitoring & Evaluation

• Develop and maintain monitoring frameworks, trackers, and reporting systems for skilling projects.
• Monitor project KPIs including enrolment, attendance, training completion, certification, and placement outcomes.
• Conduct regular data validation and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Support impact assessment, beneficiary tracking, and outcome measurement activities.
• Coordinate with field teams for timely data collection and reporting.

2. MIS & Data Management

• Prepare and manage MIS reports, dashboards, and analytical summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyse project data and generate insights for improving program performance.
• Maintain centralized project databases and ensure timely updates from implementation teams.
• Track project progress against targets and highlight gaps or risks.

3. Donor & Client Reporting

• Prepare donor reports, utilization reports, presentations, and progress updates.
• Develop narrative and quantitative reports for CSR partners and clients.
• Coordinate with clients and donors regarding reporting timelines, review meetings, and data requirements.
• Ensure timely submission of reports as per donor guidelines and reporting formats.

4. Stakeholder Coordination

• Work closely with project managers, trainers, mobilisers, and implementation partners.
• Participate in client meetings, monitoring reviews, and stakeholder discussions.
• Support audits, inspections, and monitoring visits by CSR partners and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth project reporting and documentation.

5. Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain project documentation including reports, case studies, evidence records, and trackers.
• Ensure compliance with donor guidelines, SOPs, and reporting standards.
• Support preparation of presentations, impact stories, and project documentation for internal and external use.

6. Quality Assurance

• Ensure quality standards are maintained across project implementation, reporting, and documentation processes.
• Conduct regular reviews of field data, MIS reports, and project deliverables to identify gaps and inconsistencies.
• Support implementation teams in improving data quality, reporting accuracy, and compliance standards.
• Monitor adherence to donor guidelines, SOPs, and project quality benchmarks.
• Coordinate periodic audits and internal quality checks to ensure smooth project execution and reporting efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Management, Statistics, Social Work, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Has experience of skill development projects.
• 3–4 years of experience in Monitoring & Evaluation, MIS, or Reporting roles within the Skill Development / CSR.
• Strong experience in donor reporting and client-facing coordination.
• Hands-on experience in preparing MIS reports, dashboards, and analytical reports.
• Good understanding of skilling program implementation and reporting structures.
• Experience in handling large datasets and project tracking systems.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
• Willingness to travel locally as per project requirements.
