About the Role
The Cluster Coordinator (CC) will closely coordinate with a set of 175 Government Schools & Colleges for project implementation.
The Cluster Coordinator will visit schools weekly to:
- Conduct sessions with students.
- Organize activities, FEW workshops and exposure trips for students.
- Train teachers in the use of technology in classrooms.
- Meet with Head Masters.
- Provide on-site handholding support to government teachers.
- Support teachers in planning monthly project-based activities.
- Collect and report school-level data.
The Cluster Coordinator will report to the Project Manager/Program Lead in Hyderabad.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure the program is implemented according to the approved plan and budget in the assigned cluster of schools.
- Conduct regular school visits to facilitate sessions and implement activities assigned under program deliverables.
- Undertake field monitoring, including guiding and anchoring communication with program stakeholders.
- Prepare program plans in coordination with the Program Lead and provide regular feedback and updates on programmatic progress and outputs.
- Manage databases, including updating and maintaining accurate data in close coordination with the Project Lead.
- Collect students’ data and monitoring data.
- Conduct regular teacher capacity-building sessions.
- Plan school timetables and session delivery in consultation with Headmasters and teachers.
- Conduct program orientation for school staff.
- Coordinate regularly with the concerned Program Lead to ensure activities are implemented according to the DE Program.
- Plan, implement and monitor field activities.
- Prepare reports and compile case studies/stories from the field.
- Lead baseline, mid-term and end-term evaluations according to program requirements.
- Ensure donor reporting obligations are met within prescribed timelines.
- Maintain professional integrity and ethical conduct at all times.
- Plan parents’ meetings and other school-level events as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to minimum guarantee components across all schools in the respective clusters.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with Economics, Commerce, Finance or Statistics as one of the subjects.
- 0–3 years of experience.
- Knowledge and ability to use technology and applications.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Familiarity with local languages — Telugu & Hindi.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education).
Key Skills
- Proficiency in digital tools, especially MS Office, is mandatory.
- Strong multitasking, time-management, flexibility and adaptability skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in the regional language.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in the field, with communities and in multi-stakeholder processes.
- Readiness to travel and commit to demanding program requirements.
Salary
Salary shall be commensurate with experience.
