Role Overview

BharatCares is looking for a passionate Physical Education Teacher to lead PE classes and sports activities for senior secondary students, while promoting fitness, discipline, teamwork, leadership and sportsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver effective PE lessons for senior secondary classes.
• Train students in indoor/outdoor sports, athletics, fitness and physical activities.
• Organize sports events, competitions, tournaments and annual sports day.
• Identify and support students with sports potential and competitive aspirations.
• Monitor students’ fitness, participation and sporting performance.
• Ensure student safety and proper supervision during all activities.
• Maintain sports equipment and facilities.
• Promote teamwork, discipline, leadership and sportsmanship.
• Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.
• Maintain basic reports, attendance and activity records using MS Word and Excel.

Qualifications & Requirements

• B.P.Ed./M.P.Ed. or relevant Physical Education qualification.
• 2+ years of relevant teaching/coaching experience; PGT experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of multiple sports, athletics, fitness and PE practices.
• Working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel is mandatory.
• Strong communication, classroom-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to motivate and mentor students effectively.
• Own vehicle is mandatory.
• Personal laptop is mandatory for reporting and work-related activities.
